Dante Crumbley considers himself fortunate.

A decade ago, when the now-32-year-old Reynoldsburg, Ohio, resident first got the phone call from his neurologist’s office, asking him to come in that same day for the results of a recent MRI, his mother and sister both took off work to go with him.

That’s when he received the diagnosis: He had multiple sclerosis.
